Cave Spider (360° Video Project)

Hey everyone :)

This is a project I did at my university. Everything you see was done by me, everything you hear by two of my colleagues ;)

The animation was especially hard, since I only used blender, which does not have an automatic spider rig. Also, I had to move each of the legs to match the ground since constraints only work with flat surfaces.

The resolution of the video is close to unbearable since I didnt have the time or the resources to render that long of an animation in HQ. But I still think it gives you a nice impression of the environment I was trying to go for.

I did this about 1.5 years ago, so by now there are a ton of things I would do differently. Still, I quite like the result and wouldn't want to miss the experience I got from it :)
